    There has been a lot of discussion on whether candy should be sold in schools. Candy sales is a great fundraiser for many clubs, however, we know that bad eating habits has led to rising rates of child obesity. We are in a time where finding funding for all types of school needs is tough.

    Assignment: I want you to write a five paragraph essay on why or why not candy should be sold at school. You may type it or write it or even send it in an e-mail. This assignment is due by Thursday, August 19th.

    Final Project
    The final project for class will be to incorporate the F.I.T.T. Principle into a month long workout. You must include exercises that cover the Health Related Fitness areas (muscle strength, muscle endurance, cardio, and flexibility). Don’t forget to add a day of rest. You do not have to personally own any equipment. Just think if you had your very own gym, what would use in your work out?

    Keep in mind what F.I.T.T. stands for:

    · F = Frequency – When (two days, three days a week etc.)
    · I = Intensity – How hard (50 %, 75%, 100%)
    · T = Time – How long (20 min. 30 min etc.)
    · T = Type – What kind of activity (weights, ropes, jogging, bike, treadmill swimming etc.)

    This project is due September 9th. I want to see quality work!
